We invite you to a workshop on carved candles, where you will have the opportunity to create a candle with its own story and give it a special meaning.
This is the author's technology of our craftsmen, who will gladly reveal some secrets to you and share their possessions.
In the process of creating a candle, you will learn more about the peculiarities of Slavic culture and how the beliefs of the ancient Slavs continue to influence modern life and are present in our everyday life.
At the workshop we:
- We will "embroider" symbols on candles
- let's talk about the place and meaning of candles and symbols in the everyday life and beliefs of Ukrainians
- learn more about the meanings of ancient Ukrainian and Tryplian symbols and ornaments, which we decorate candles with
- let's enjoy the process of working with beeswax, feeling the warmth of the wax and our hearts
❤ Each participant will be able to complement his own candle with the meanings he needs, thus creating a unique creation ❤
As a result, you will create and take with you:
1 candle (diameter 7 cm, height 8 cm, burning time up to 24 hours)
